The headlight assembly is unbolted and slid forward. The headlamp wiring is disconnected and the retainer ring is removed so the bulb can be taken out.

Start:

This 2002 Dodge Caravan has three bolts attaching the headlamp assembly to the core support.

I used an 8mm (or 5/16") socket with ratchet to remove the three bolts just behind the headlight.

Then I slid the headlamp assembly forward.

I placed a towel under the headlamp to prevent scratching the paint on the bumper.

Disconnecting the wires from the headlight.

I used a flat screwdriver to lift the tab on the end of the headlight bulb...

...and pulled the connector out of the bulb.

Then I reached inside with my thumb and fingers, turned the retainer counter clock-wise...

...and removed it.

I pulled the bulb straight back and out of the housing.

There are three notches on the bulb and housing, so it cannot be twisted and can only be installed in one position.

Removing The Front Turn Signal Bulb:

On the turn signal (or park lamp) bulb, I twisted the socket counter clock-wise...

...and removed it from the housing.

To remove the bulb I pulled it straight out of the socket.

The turn signal-park lamp bulb is a number 3057 double-filament bulb.

I then slid the lamp assembly back into the support and bolted it back in.
